ALLIE ROWE

(GUITAR, BODHRAN, MANDOLIN, VOCALS)

Allie Rowe plays guitar, bodhran, mandolin, and sings.  She began learning bodhran in 2005, and progressed at an incredible rate, playing with great style and sensitivity almost immediately.   She later came to the Riley School of Irish Music, where she met the other members of the band, and played with them for quite a while prior to formation.  Allie has studied with such guitar players as the great John Doyle and such illustrious singers as Robbie O'Connell.  Her rock-solid, driving rhythm and fantastic feeling for chords is a vital part of Exile of Erin's sound.

ALEX STURBAUM

(BUTTON ACCORDION, GUITAR, BODHRAN, VOCALS)

Alex began playing Irish music when he took up the bodhran at thirteen, and later

learned to play the guitar and the button box.  He plays very... enthusiastically, and has

a very energetic style.  He has studied with Martin Quinn and Billy and Sean

McComiskey on the button accordion, but is mostly self-taught.  He also sings

occasionally; he is the band's major Scottish and Maritime connection.

JEN RACK

(FIDDLE, WHISTLES, PIANO, BODHRAN, FLUTE, VOCALS)

Jen is a multi-instrumentalist who plays well in many different styles.  In addition to her fabulous Irish fiddle and whistle playing, she is an accomplished classical pianist and flautist (which aids in her interpretation of Irish tunes for that instrument).  Jen's fabulous musicianship adds a great amount to the band, and she is a force to be reckoned with on any instrument she chooses.
